Kadesh Barnea Foundation

A dream that has come true

Sarai Aser de Kruijf was born in Chile as the eldest daughter of a missionary family of seven children. As a child she had the dream of becoming a mother to street children in Chile. In 1995, this dream came true when he founded the Kades Barnea Foundation. She owns the Sarai Aser Photo & Design photography studio in Rotterdam and invests half of her profits in children’s development projects. In addition, Kades Barnea receives donations from companies, individuals and other foundations, with which she collaborates closely.

Kades Barnea supports projects in the town of Canto del Agua, in the Atacama Desert in northern Chile. The local government has literally put several families in the desert as an experiment. These people are considered the outcasts of society; the majority are illiterate and live in poverty.
Projects sponsored by Kades Barnea:

– Food supply
– Clothes
– Construction of sanitary facilities and housing
– Support in legal matters
– Literacy
– Medical attention
– Assistance to widows
