What we do
Peru project:
Shalom house
Shalom house is a training center for young people between 15 and 25 years old.
The center is located in Lima, the capital of Peru. 49% of young people live in poverty here. Due to lack of economic resources, young people do not complete their studies and seek refuge in crime, drugs and other addictions. Casa Shalom offers these young people vocational training courses and psychological help. The objective of the training is for young people to become independent and self-sufficient.
Bolivia project:
Apadrinavi
Basic food, housing, study and clothing project for night school children. Become a godfather of a Caranavi child!
What is Apadrinavi?
This project started in September 2011. Our main goal is to provide food to children who come from homes with extreme economic problems and who have to work and learn at the same time. Who works at Apadrinavi? Apadrinavi is made up of a group of interdenominational employees (Chile-Bolivia) and may have a network within Chile. Kades-Barnea is fully committed to this wonderful project as a financial sponsor and fundraiser, to successfully realize this dream project together with partners/sponsors.
Main objectives
1. Provide meals weekdays to night school for the 170 primary school children (ages 6-14).
2. Delivery of lunches to the most vulnerable children in the dining room
